Tuesday 25th November 2008, 10:50AM GMT.

An inquest has been opened and adjourned this morning on a Craven Arms woman whose body was found in a field.

South Shropshire’s coroner, Anthony Sibcy, opened the inquest at 9am into Reinet Alice Lahan’s death and adjourned the hearing until February 23 next year.

Mrs Lahan, a 50-year-old divorcee who lived at St John’s Crescent, was found dead in a field at Halford, just a mile north of the town.

Police said they are treating Mrs Lahan’s death as unexplained, but added that they are not looking for anyone else in connection with it.
