Speeders get tickets

Police have given speeding tickets to 15 north Shropshire drivers as part of a two-day blitz on the roads.
They targeted Market Drayton, Woore, Norton-in-Hales and Adderley, with speeding motorists each given a £60 fine and three penalty points on their licences. It was led by Market Drayton local policing team and Shropshire Safer Roads Partnership using a handheld speed gun.
Constable Karena Evans said: “We have been responding to residents’ concerns.”
