Man facing drugs case

A Shropshire man has appeared in court accused of being involved in the importation of a £20 million haul of drugs.
Christopher Hopkins, of The Larches, Newport, appeared at Hendon Magistrates Court yesterday, charged with fraudulent evasion of a restriction and the import of class C drugs, namely cannabis.
Hopkins, 29, appeared alongside co-accused Abdirahman Khalib, 26, of Stanmore, London, and 38-year-old Yasin Muse, of Edgware, London.
