More UFOs reported

picnik_download.jpgMore reports of strange lights in the skies above Shropshire have been coming in to our website.

The most recent sighting took place on Saturday, November 16 in the skies above Newport in the direction of Edgmond.

A reader emailed us to say she spent 45 minutes watching a “hazy ball of light that moved backwards and forwards across the sky at differing speeds- sometimes moving up and down in a strange way.

“My son saw it out of the window of his bedroom and came down to tell us.

“I told him not to be so stupid, but both me and my husband watched it for some time.

“He did say it could have been a powerful light shone from the ground but there was no beam of light from the ground.”

Meanwhile, on Bonfire Night Carol Morgan, of Llanfair Road in Newtown, said she spotted a large ball of orange light moving across the night sky.

And Shropshirestar.com reader Peter Urquhart wrote: “I saw two orange/red spheres over Telford on Wednesday 12th Nov at 5.40pm.

“These were silent but very swift. One appeared first, coming from Shrewsbury direction towards Telford, followed by the second which joined the other very rapidly.”

Mr Urquhart said they were travelling too fast to be “normal aircraft”.

“They both then flew side by side before veering off back in the direction of Shrewsbury again.

“These spheres were completely round, silent, large and very bright.

“I did ring the news channel but they said no-one else had reported anything that evening. I could not have been the only one to have witnessed this.”

I believe the “hazy ball of light” seen by your reader was the same one that I saw…funnily enough, my immediate thought was not “it’s a UFO” but “oh, they’ve got a spotlight at the bonfire and fairground at Donnington”. I think you’ll find that is the explanation…

    Roge says,
The “UFOs” were almost certainly the work of a WW2 re-enactment group in possession of seachlights moving them on the low cloud on Saturday evening. I noticed the fast moving illuminations giving the effect of a ball of light moving at high speed.

the white light seen was from the fair at donnington bonfire you could see it from mere park garden centre also! It was a very clear night so i presume the light could travel vexs far

They might want to be questioning the funfair operators at donnington bonfire who had a spotlight which moved back and forth in the sky….. on saturday…. close to Newport ?!

You may have seen me, I was in my spaceship flying around what you call Telford on Saturday evening. I landed at place called Donnington but couldn’t find a parking space anywhere apart from the garage where they tryed to charge me £5. Even us Aliens know this is a rip off!!

To E.T.(#8), the reason a the garage charges £5 a pop for parking is to deter people from parking their cars anywhere and everywhere and causing chaos.

I had to visit the co-op in Donny at about 7.15 p.m. on Saturday, and usually it’s pretty quiet. Every single parking space was used up and there were several cars parked on the pavement opposite the parking spaces. Not to mention cars taking up every single piece of land on the grass verge all along Wrekin Drive.

The Shell garage had exactly the right idea.

When are people going to realize that UFOs are real? Those who still laugh and ridicule “little green men” only show their ignorance to what is slowly unfolding in front of humanity….

Could I just remind people that anything that is in the sky and is flying is by nature a UFO,until it has been identified. That is what UFO’s are. Unidentified flying objects.

No seriously, the weird orange globes were back over Donnington last night at a little after 11 pm. Is the shuttle toolbag still floating around up there or did they just drop something?

Wow…just walkin the dog by priorslee lake at 5.28pm tonight and there was a huge white light which then faded to a blue light in the sky. It filled the sky similar to lightning but was spread evenly accross the clouds. Anyway literally a second after, all the alarms on the nearby houses all went off at the same time and then the power went off for a few seconds!
    weird no?
