AFC Telford United supporters remained in buoyant mood, despite their side’s failure to secure a famous victory against Southend United in the FA Cup on Saturday.
A late goal from the visitors at the New Bucks Head ensured the two sides will meet again in a replay next week.
But having watched their side fight back from a 1-0 deficit at half time, most supporters were proud of the effort shown by their side.

Probably a fair result since Larry Chambers appeasred to say on the radio that there seemed to be nothing wrong with Southends disallowed goal, once again however the officials were dismal, I was only a few yards away from the incident where the Southend defender handled the ball in his penalty area and it was as good a penalty as I`ve seen in 60 years of watchin soccer [mainly at The Buck ]
