Folk rock supergroup at the Robin

Folk rock fans are in for a treat this month when the Robin 2 features a concert by The Gathering, a band featuring current and former members of Jethro Tull, Lindisfarne, The Albion Band, Fairport Convention, Steeleye Span, Magna Carta and Pentangle.

The “Legends of Folk Rock” event at the Bilston venue on November 19, reads like a Who’s Who of key players, featuring Clive Bunker, Jerry Donahue, Ray Jackson, Rick Kemp, Doug Morter, Mike Piggot and Kristina Donahue, who will be performing classic songs from their respective bands.

Tickets are £15 in advance and £16 on the night. Doors open at 7.30pm and the show starts at 8pm, with two support acts; Amy Barton and Jonathon Ash.
