SHREWSBURY

Civic procession at 9.15am at the Music Hall in the Square, along High Street, Mardol Head and St John’s Hill to St Chad’s Church, service at 9.45am.

Wreath-laying ceremony at 11am at the War Memorial will begin in The Quarry followed by a march past the saluting base in St Chad’s Terrace.

TELFORD

Parade of the Madeley branch of the Royal British Legion at 10.15am at the Dolphin pub, Woodside, followed by a march to the Cenotaph in Madeley for the service at 10.45am.

RAF Cosford Museum service in Hangar One at 10.45am in front of the Comet aircraft with ATC and RAF personnel 

Family service and act of remembrance at 10.30am at St Mary & St Leonard’s Church, Wombridge, Telford. 

Remembrance Day service at 11am at Wrockwardine Wood’s Holy Trinity Church on Sunday.

Ceremony of light at 8pm at Oakengates Theatre, Wellington, with parade along Victoria Road and New Street, into The Square and to the church lychgates.

NORTH SHROPSHIRE

Parade at 10.30am from Talbot Street Car Park to St Mary’s Church, Ellesmere.

Wreath-laying in Whitchurch at 9.45am at the Cenotaph in Station Road.

A march to the Civic Centre and onto St Alkmund’s Church for a service and two-minute silence, followed by a march back to the Civic Centre and then to Mile Bank Cemetery.

Parade in Wem meets at town’s main car park to the Parish Church for 10.50am, led by the Wem Jubilee Band.

SOUTH SHROPSHIRE

Parade at 9.30am at Church Stretton Social Club to St Lawrence’s Church for a service at 10am.

Procession from St Lawrence’s Church to war memorial for an act of remembrance with the laying of the wreaths and the silence at 11am.

Parade at 10.30am at the Market Square in Ludlow.

Parade at 10.25am at Auction Yard, Tenbury, to St Mary’s church.

Parade at 10.40am at town hall in Bishop’s Castle to the war memorial.

BRIDGNORTH

Procession at 10.30 from the town hall to a service at St Leonard’s Church.

Wreath-laying ceremony at the war memorial in Castle Grounds following service.

Services are also being held at the Severn Valley Railway. 

OSWESTRY

A service at 11.30am at St Oswald’s Church.

Parade at 10.30am from the Guildhall in the town centre to the War Memorial at Cae Glas Park gates.

A service will be held at at 9.45am at St Mary’s Church in Chirk, led by representatives of the churches.

A march at 10.45am from the Royal British Legion car park to the town cenotaph to observe a two-minute silence at 11am.

A service at 6pm at Chirk Methodist Church.

Remembrance event will be held on Sunday at Llanfyllin Town Square at 10.45am followed by a service in St Myllin’s Church.

POWYS

Newtown Royal British Legion Remembrance Parade to the war memorial at 10.30am at the Monty Club in Broad Street.

11am two-minute silence at the war memorial followed by march to the Baptist Chapel for the annual service of remembrance. 

Parade at 10.30am at the Town Hall in Welshpool leading to St Mary’s church for 11am.
