Early start for Shrews Wembley bid
Tuesday 4th November 2008, 12:15PM GMT.
Shrewsbury Town’s promotion push takes a back seat tonight as Paul Simpson’s side bid to move within three matches of a Wembley final.
That will be the prize up for grabs at the Prostar Stadium (7pm) when Town entertain League Two rivals Dagenham & Redbridge in the southern area quarter- final of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.
Town will be hoping their scintillating home form will continue against a side just three places below them in the League table.
