Tickets have gone on on sale for the qualifying rounds of the Maplin UK Championship – to be held in Shropshire – which will feature some of the biggest names in the history of the sport.
The qualifiers for the Telford event take place at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield from December 1-8 and tickets cost just £5 and can be bought by calling 0114 256 5656.
Competing in the qualifiers will be Steve Davis, Ken Doherty, Mark Williams and John Parrott – a quartet with 10 world titles between them – as well as the likes of Matthew Stevens, Jamie Cope, Stephen Lee, Judd Trump and Jimmy White.
A total of 80 players will compete in the qualifying rounds, with 16 winners to go through to the final stages at the Telford International Centre from December 13-21.
