Halloween is horrible fun

Hundreds of children and parents enjoyed a spooky time when they gathered at Whittington Castle to take part in a Halloween event.Hundreds of ghoulish events were held across Shropshire as people of all ages got into the “spirit” of Halloween.

While those who took part enjoyed getting dressed up in spooky costumes and many youngsters went around their neighbours’ doors trick or treating, several charities also benefited from the fun and games as many of the events were used to raise cash and support for worthy causes.

Hundreds of children and parents enjoyed a spooky time when they gathered at Whittington Castle to take part in a Halloween event.

The castle yesterday hosted one of the largest Halloween events in Shropshire. All sorts of ghosts and ghouls emerged as dozens of families came to the old castle ruins.
