Fans get ready for Russell Watson date

The Voice is back! Russell Watson celebrates next month’s release of his new album People Get Ready with a tour which will call at Birmingham Symphony Hall next Spring.
He will appear in Birmingham on Thursday, April 23, 2009.
Following a successful recovery after suffering from a second brain tumor last year, Watson went on to perform a sell out 17-date UK tour in 2008 as well as recently being the head judge on the BBC 1 Saturday night hit show Last Choir Standing, where he helped select the UK’s favorite choir, with the final show being viewed by over seven million people.
The tour will include dates at Liverpool Philharmonic, the Royal Albert Hall and two homecoming shows at the Salford Lowry.
Watson has 4 Classical BRIT Awards under his belt and is recognised world-wide as the UK’s biggest selling classical artist of the 21st century.
He has broken a succession of records, being the first British male to simultaneously occupy a No.1 spot in the UK and American classical charts, as well as being the first artist to have a classical album at No.1 in the UK classical charts for an entire year.
