Boy cyclist dies after crash
Saturday 25th October 2008, 3:00PM BST.
A teenage boy has died after being knocked off his bike in Shrewsbury.
The 14-year-old died in hospital after his bike was in collision with a car
on Whitchurch Road, at its junction with Featherbed Lane.
The accident happened at 9.20pm on Friday.
A 23-year-old male motorist was arrested in connection with the collision.
Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them on 08457 444888.
