Road accident councillor ‘improving’
Friday 24th October 2008, 11:49AM BST.
A Bridgnorth councillor who suffered serious injuries after being knocked down by a car near her home is showing signs of improvement, her husband said today.
Councillor Beryl Pay, 76, is in the neurological critical care unit of Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Her condition was today described as being stable, but Pat Pay said his wife was improving every day.
“We are into the third day now and she’s much better than when she went in,” he said.
