Manchester City and England goalkeeper Joe Hart returned to his roots to be inducted into the Shropshire Schools & Colleges Football Association’s Hall of Fame.
Former Shrewsbury Town star Hart is the first of a number of former Shropshire Schools players who will be honoured with a place in the Hall of Fame, with the ceremony taking place at the Prostar Stadium on Tuesday.
Other members will include Dave Edwards (Wolves and Wales) and Billy Jones (Preston & England under 20) who were both in action on Tuesday.
Hart is pictured with Howard Thorne (left, managing director of Shropshire Homes) and Alan Hopkins (president of Shropshire Schools & Colleges Football Association).
