Joe Hart in county hall of fame

Joe Hart, right, with with Howard Thorne and Alan HopkinsManchester City and England goalkeeper Joe Hart returned to his roots to be inducted into the Shropshire Schools & Colleges Football Association’s Hall of Fame.

Former Shrewsbury Town star Hart is the first of a number of former Shropshire Schools players who will be honoured with a place in the Hall of Fame, with the ceremony taking place at the Prostar Stadium on Tuesday.

Other members will include Dave Edwards (Wolves and Wales) and Billy Jones (Preston & England under 20) who were both in action on Tuesday.
