Daniels doubt for Town trip to Bees
Thursday 23rd October 2008, 12:48PM BST.
Shrewsbury Town are sweating on an injury scare to Luke Daniels ahead of Saturday’s top-of-the-table trip to Brentford.
Daniels is struggling with a thigh strain which was being treated by physio Nathan Ring this morning and will be assessed tomorrow.
Manager Paul Simpson said: “There is a concern over Luke Daniels with his thigh so we will see how he is.
“There are a few other little niggles which I would expect to be okay.”
Should Daniels fail to recover in time, Glyn Garner would be the prime contender for the No 1 jersey with Scott Bevan still on loan at Torquay.
