Missing Mandy caught on CCTV
Tuesday 21st October 2008, 3:00PM BST.
Detectives investigating the disappearance of 40-year-old Mandy Franks today called for people who may have seen her after these shots were captured to come forward.
The team searching for the Shropshire woman have repeated a call for people who were in the area where Miss Franks was last seen. It is hoped people can tell police where she headed after the last sighting of her on CCTV.

They are hoping to track down anyone who may have seen the mother-of-one when she was out of sight of the cameras.
It is hoped this information may help discover which direction Miss Franks, of Belle Vue Road, Shrewsbury, was heading after she was last spotted.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who might have been in Shrewsbury’s Grazia restaurant or wine bar on the night of October 4, along with anyone who might have been driving or walking along certain roads in the town.
These include Town Walls, Claremont Bank, St Chad’s Terrace, Lower Claremont Bank, Victoria Quay, Priory Road, Victoria Avenue or St Austin’s Friars areas. Detective Inspector Mick Homden, from Shrewsbury CID, said the direction Miss Franks may have taken is now a focus of the investigation.
He said: “We are trying to establish which direction Mandy went after leaving Montgomery’s Tower and clearly CCTV forms a big part of this. But it is also important for anyone who might have been in areas not covered by CCTV to contact us as a matter of urgency, so we can establish whether Mandy might have gone in any of those directions.
“Even if you did not see her, please get in touch so we can establish where she might have gone after 12.05am on Sunday, October 5.”
He added: “It could be that the small piece of information you have is the key to us finding Miss Franks.”
Anyone who was in the area at the time of Miss Franks’s disappearance is asked to contact the incident room on 08457 444888 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
