Sims scores hole-in-one at 84

Shropshire golfing golden oldie George Sims has proved that you’re never to old to take up a sport – after recording a hole-in-one at the age of 84.
George, who lives in Albrighton, decided to take up the game 12 years ago at the age of 72 and recorded his first ace on the par three second hole playing in a social with fellow veterans at The Wrekin.
Although it was George’s first hole-in-one, he confessed to several near misses and plays a couple of rounds every week.
