Three sought after attack
Wednesday 15th October 2008, 2:31PM BST.
Police have released images of three men they want to speak to in connection with an assault in a Telford takeaway.
Officers have released the CCTV images of the men as they believe they may hold vital clues to the unprovoked attack on a teenager in Oakengates.
The men are believed to have been inside Momma’s Pizza in Market Street when a 19-year-old was punched to the floor, on September 5, at about 3.45am.
Constable Toyah Forber, from Telford police, urged the men or anyone who knows them to get in touch. She said: “This was an assault that led to the victim being taken by ambulance to the Princess Royal Hospital.
“Thankfully his injuries were not serious, but this type of yobbish behaviour cannot be tolerated.”
She also asked anyone who was a driver or passenger of a blue Peugeot in the area at the time to come forward.
Anyone with information about the assault or who can help identify the three men or the car is asked to contact Constable Forber on 08457 444888.
