Flat deaths trial to start
Tuesday 7th October 2008, 9:43AM BST.
A 26-year-old man accused of murdering two men in a Shropshire flat was due before Stafford Crown Court today.
Sukhdev Singh is charged with the murders of Kulwant Singh Dodar, 31, and Jaswant Singh Bajwa, 30, in the flat above Shawbury Fish Bar, Shawbury. They both died of head injuries.
Singh is accused of killing the men between December 5 and 8 last year. He denies the charge.
The two bodies were discovered on December 7 at the flat where Singh lived with the two men.
Singh’s legal team have gather evidence from India.
