Biker leaves scene of collision

A motorcyclist left the scene following a collision with a female pedestrian which left her with a suspected broken arm and an injured knee.
The woman was walking along an unclassified road to Pimley Manor, off Sundorne Road, Shrewsbury, when the collision happened at about 4.45pm yesterday.
The woman was taken to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital by her husband. The male motorbike rider was uninjured, a police spokesman said.
The motorbike is thought to be blue and a scrambler model. Police are trying to establish the biker’s identity.
