Traders in loyalty bid

Traders in Ellesmere are set to get a business boost next month when a loyalty shopping scheme is launched in the town.
The Shop Local scheme, run by the North Shropshire Economic Development Forum operates in Ellesmere, Wem, Whitchurch, Market Drayton and Oswestry.
It involves businesses paying to join, and loyalty cards entitling the user to various discounts.
A launch will take place in Ellesmere on October 14 at the town’s Market Hall.
