No ID yet for mansion fire body
Tuesday 16th September 2008, 11:50AM BST.
Forensics experts have failed to formally identify the body believed to be that of murdered Shropshire schoolgirl Kirstie Foster, three weeks after a blaze destroyed the family home.
Detectives have yet to reveal whether the third body pulled from Osbaston House in Maesbrook was that of the 15-year-old Ellesmere College pupil, but have said they believe it is her.

Forensic teams have been working to positively identify the body since it was recovered.
They have also, as yet, failed to discover how the third person died or how Kirstie’s father, suspected double murderer Chris Foster, killed himself.
Detectives think Foster killed his wife and daughter before killing the family’s horses and dogs and setting fire to the outbuildings and the £1.15 million house. He then killed himself.
Richard Ewels, West Mercia Police spokesman, said: “The delay is being caused by the DNA tests which are being carried out.
“The nature of these tests take time. As soon as we get these results we will be releasing them.”
