The first overseas player to win the world snooker championship heads to Shropshire on Friday.
Canadian Cliff Thorburn, who won the game’s biggest prize in 1980, is doing an exhibition at the Ellesmere Comrades Club.
Thorburn, who was also the first player to make a maximum 147 break at the World Championship, will take on seven players from Shropshire before entertaining the crowd with his trick shot routine.
