Faces of family in blaze mystery
Wednesday 27th August 2008, 6:45PM BST.
This is the first picture of the family missing after an arson attack on their £1.2 million Shropshire mansion.
It shows Chris Foster, 50, Jill Foster 49 and their 15-year-old daughter Kirstie at a gathering at a friend’s house on Bank Holiday Monday, the day before the blaze which destroyed their home.
The whereabouts of the family is still unknown. They have not been seen since before the blaze, which broke out in the early hours of Tuesday.
Police have still not been able to enter Osbaston House, in Maesbrook, to establish if the family was inside at the time of the blaze.
Detectives today confirmed that three horses were found dead at the scene and at least two dogs are missing.
Police have asked anyone with information to call the Major Investigation Unit at Shrewsbury on 08457 444888.
