Wall smash woman hurt
Tuesday 19th August 2008, 11:50AM BST.
A woman was cut from a car after crashing into a wall in a Shropshire village.
Fire crews from Ludlow and Cleobury Mortimer attended the incident, which involved a Rover car that was in collision with the side of a disused farm building near Hopton Wafers at about 11.30pm yesterday.
Claire Thomas, from the ambulance service, said that two crews were called the scene. Fire officers released the woman believed to be in her 40s from the car using specialist cutting equipment.
The woman was taken to Worcester Hospital where she was treated for fractures.
