Man, 59, on deaths charge

A 59-year-old man from Powys has been charged with the manslaughter of a couple who died of carbon monoxide poisoning.
The bodies of Eileen Powell, 72, of Pendre Close, Brecon, and Thomas Morgan, 74, of Cwmavon, Port Talbot, were found at a house in Brecon in December 2006.
Police said a Brecon man would appear before town magistrates on September 4.
