Castlefields are so close to title now

Eleven points clear with six games to play – Castlefields are almost home and hosed in the Furrows Shropshire Premier Bowls League title race after beating visiting Ifton 10-4 last night.
That means the spotlight is on the battle at the bottom to avoid the wooden spoon – and Donnington Wood made a move despite losing 13-1 at high fliers Wem USC.
For second bottom Childs Ercall were whitewashed at Ford to see their safety cushion cut to just three points.
