Shrewsbury Town’s exit from the Carling Cup against Carlisle last night means they must look to the league for glory over the next few weeks.
But following that superb win over Macclesfield in the league last weekend, how do Shrews fans feel about this first setback?

this is not the end of the world, what is more worrying is darlington winning at walsall, forget not that exeter got a point at darlo, so exeter may be no pushover on saturday

Let’s at least get to Exeter before we start casting the old gloom and doom around: one game at a time, people. I know it’s in the book of classic football cliches, but we’re better off out of it as we can focus on the league. Judging by the drop in attendance, I don’t think the fans are that fussed either.
