From generous plot to scenic garden

A deep red Hollyhock

In the wettest part of the garden Eva has planted moisture-loving perennials including hostas, ligularias, lysamachia “Firecracker”, kniphofia, day lilies and crocosmia, and in the summer plants dahlias and cannas.

This garden is well worth a visit with lots of colour and interest. There are lovely views towards the surrounding countryside, with young trees in the foreground and mature native trees as a backcloth, so linking the garden with the countryside. It is also a haven for birds.

“We have over 20 different species visit us,” said Eva.
