£3,000 haul from shed

Saturday 2nd August 2008, 6:59PM BST.

Thieves escaped with goods worth more than £3,000 after breaking into a shed in Telford.

They smashed a padlock to gain entry to the shed in Hurleybrook Way, Leegomery, between 10pm yesterday and 8am today.

Constable Stuart Ind, of Telford police, said items taken included two bikes, a generator, pressure washers and a number of power tools.

“It would have taken at least two people to move the items,” he said.

Anyone with information about the break-in is asked to call Telford police on 08457 444888.
