Motorist in bus smash
Wednesday 30th July 2008, 11:50AM BST.
A woman was injured today after a Mini and a bus were involved in a head-on crash in Telford.
The vehicles collided in Woodside Road, Ketley, shortly before 8.30am.
The woman driving the Mini was taken to hospital with neck pain. The bus driver was left shaken.
No passengers were on board the bus at the time. The road was blocked and both vehicles needed recovering.
Suzie Fothergill, West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman, said: “We treated a female patient at the scene before taking her to Telford’s Princess Royal Hospital.”
