Arson attack on town store

Tuesday 29th July 2008, 11:50AM BST.

Thousands of pounds of damage has been caused to a Shrewsbury supermarket in an arson attack.

A man was seen to enter the loading bay behind the Sainsbury’s store in Whitecroft Road and set light to items at about 3am on Sunday.

The fire caused about £10,000 damage.
