The new name was unveiled at the Oteley Road ground last night when the “significant” four-year sponsorship deal with the firm was announced by delighted club bosses.

The deal also includes Prostar being appointed as the club’s new kit manufacturers.

Players and top models from London were on hand last night to promote the home and away strips plus a leisure wear range.

Shrewsbury fans will get their first opportunity to see the garments tonight when the team take on Premier League new boys West Bromwich Albion in a pre-season friendly at 7.45pm.

The club shop will be open prior to the game to allow fans to purchase the kits.

The new away shirt will be worn by the players in another friendly match on August 2.

The new kit retains the traditional blue and amber for the home shirts with a black and red design for its away strip.

Keith Sayfritz, vice chairman, said: “The full travel plan is in operation for the WBA game, which means all the usual Park and Ride sites, Shirehall, Harlescott and Oxon; the Express Bus Service from the main bus station in the town centre and permit holders only at the Stadium and Sutton Grange.”

Permit holders for 2008/09 can use their permits for the friendly games.
