New jobs come with expansion
Monday 7th July 2008, 6:59PM BST.
Green technology firm Maxsys Limited has moved to Telford as part of expansion plans, hoping to create up to ten new jobs.
The company, developer of the widely adopted Maxsys Fuel System, is one of the West Midlands’ most successful “green tech” firms and has relocated to the town from Walsall.
Developer
Maxsys is the developer and supplier of the magnetic fuel treatment system which is enabling some of the UK and Europe’s biggest companies, such as Findus and Dow Chemicals, to achieve significant energy savings and meet their CO2 reduction targets.
This innovative technology delivers more than five per cent typical fuel savings to the industrial, commercial and public sectors at sites where large volumes of fuel are required to feed boilers or burners.
Maxsys moved to Conwy House in Donnington at the beginning of May 2008, where the company is now planning to recruit additional staff to support its rapidly expanding customer base.
Paul Finnegan, commercial director of Maxsys, said: “Maxsys has gone from strength to strength over the past year, with orders totalling over £2 million.
“The Maxsys Fuel System is very much a proven technology and we need to make sure our business is best placed to provide pre and post sales support to our customers.
“The impact of rising energy prices means that many businesses need to be proactive about energy management and plant managers are turning to the Fuel System to help solve these energy challenges.
“Our success in this climate means that we had outgrown our current headquarters in Walsall. We identified Telford as being ideally located for us to take the business forward: this move is good news for our staff, our customers and our partners.”
