We’re off to see the Wizard…

Telford’s own Musical Theatre Academy is getting set for a magical production of the all-time musical favourite The Wizard of Oz, which runs from July 10 to 12 at Oakengates Theatre.
It follows the tale of young Dorothy and her pet dog Toto as they embark on a journey down the yellow brick road and prepare to meet the ‘Wizard of Oz’.
This colourful production will feature all the remarkable characters from the story, including the Munchkins, the Scarecrow and the Tin Man, plus a visual feast of twisting tornados and the frightening Wicked Witch.
With favourite songs like Over the Rainbow, Yellow Brick Road and We’re Off to See the Wizard, it promises to be a magical show for all the family.
Tickets are on sale now. The show runs from July 10 to 12 at 7.30pm in the evenings, with a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.
