Perched in glorious countryside in the rural hamlet of Middleton, near Chirbury, The Manor is a former vicarage which became an animal sanctuary. The house is to be sold by public auction with a guide price of £300,000. Originally built around 1850, The Manor was home for 46 years to two women whose lives were devoted to charitable work, mainly for the benefit of birds and animals. It enjoys a private location but is in need of renovation and modernisation. The auction will be held at Halls’ Welsh Bridge headquarters in Shrewsbury on July 17. Call Halls on (01938) 555552 for more information.
