A sporty Brera for the Brits
Monday 26th May 2008, 9:00AM BST.
A true Italian sports car developed specifically for Britain’s roads? Believe it, now that motorsports specialist Prodrive has worked its magic on a new, limited edition, Alfa Brera S.

The car has just spent a year in development at Prodrive’s headquarters in Banbury, Oxfordshire, to get the right kind of driver feedback and handling needed for Britain’s demanding, often badly maintained, roads.
Prodrive was briefed by Alfa Romeo to make the Brera S less of a long-distance tourer, and more sporty on UK roads, leading the engineering team to develop a unique suspension set-up.

Molto Bene :-)
There is not a better looking new car available for less than £40k. And although it’s still a bit lardy in the weight department, hopefully Dave Richards’ Prodrive concern will have engineered some poise and tactility to the driving experience that matches the Alfa’s sensational looks.
Lovely, lovely thing.
