Postcard’s special meaning for owner
Thursday 22nd May 2008, 11:49AM BST.
Welcome to Heath Row, at Ightfield Heath, perhaps around 100 years ago. You won’t find it now, as it is long gone.
This postcard picture was loaned to us by Peter and Audrey Edgerton, of Whixall, and it has special meaning for Audrey – as it is where she was born.
“I was born at these cottages, at number 16. They were demolished around the 1960s,” said Audrey.

I was also pleased to see the post card of Heath Row as my grandparents and mother, who was born in 1900 lived at number 13. I have a post card marked What Remains of Ightfield Post Office about the same period if anyone can shed same light as to what happend, as it seems to be a big event regards Freda Jones
