Ex-Kitten pulls out of show
Friday 16th May 2008, 11:50AM BST.
Former Atomic Kitten Natasha Hamilton who was due to sing at a charity ball at a country club near Bridgnorth has been forced to pull out.
The singer, who found fame after joining the girl band, has cancelled her appearance at Swancote Country Club tomorrow night because she is recovering from a chest operation.
She was due to perform with The Commandments to help raise funds for the County Air Ambulance and Compton Hospice.
The club’s manager Steve Platt organised the event to raise money to help the air ambulance, which helped save his life six years ago.
Mr Platt admitted he was disappointed the singer would not be at the event, but said the show had to go on.
He said: “She has been admitted into hospital to have a minor operation on her chest.
“It’s very disappointing, but it’s just one of those things and we’ve still got a night of top quality entertainment lined up.”
