Questions on sewage

Monday 12th May 2008, 11:50AM BST.

Shropshire villagers fed up with sewage spilling out on their streets can today see the plans being put into place to end their nightmare.

Tilstock residents were up in arms earlier this year when Severn Trent Water once again had to send in tankers to clear up sewage, while continuing to put off promised works to upgrade the area’s foul water system.

But an end to the problem may now be in sight and representatives from Severn Trent will be at Tilstock Village Hall at 7pm today to reveal its plans to upgrade the area’s inadequate sewerage system.
