Seyi undecided over future
Tuesday 6th May 2008, 11:49AM BST.
Seyi Olofinjana is seeking re-assurances on his future before committing to another season of Championship football at Wolves.
The Nigerian international has been disappointed with his form this season and the club’s failure to make the play-offs.
Now the 27-year-old midfielder, who was linked with Birmingham and Reading before signing a four-year contract last October, wants to clarify his position.
“I want to stay at Wolves, I’m loved here and I know everyone around here and how people value me,” he said.
“Having said that, we’ll have to see. I can’t say what it will take for me to stay.”
Wolves’ players are due in for a ‘debriefing’ session this week and Olofinjana wants to use his final meeting with the management before the summer to discuss the future.
“It’s good to speak to the manager and a lot can be discussed,” he said.
