Date for seafood eaterie’s opening

Top seafood restaurant Loch Fyne is due to open its doors in Shrewsbury this month.
The restaurant will officially open on May 19 but bosses will be holding a number of preview nights to raise money for charity.
The preview nights, for invited guests only, will be held on May 16 and 17.
Spokeswoman Naomi Hicks said: “The restaurant puts sustainability at the heart of their business, and sources high quality seafood in an ethical and sustainable way.
“They have been singled out as one of the most ethical restaurants in the UK, in a survey conducted by Ethical Consumer magazine in December 2007. Loch Fyne Restaurant was also awarded Good Housekeeping’s favourite restaurant of the year award in its 2008 Food Awards.”
The restaurant is using the preview nights to help raise money for the RNLI lifeboat campaign.
The restaurant is located in Talbot House, in Market Street.
