Sergeant Bob Matthews attended Bridgnorth’s annual meeting last night at St Mary’s Bluecoat School.

He said Bridgnorth had seen 10 fatal accidents over the past 12 months – five of which involved motorcycles.

“We have carried out an education programme with motorcyclists to raise awareness and the dangers of Bridgnorth roads,” he said.

“We don’t want to alienate motorcyclists as they are visitors to the area but overall we want them and you to be safe.”
