Shrewsbury Town fans have their say as our video journalist heads on to the streets of the town after the weekend’s defeat to Bury.

With Paul Simpson barely in the manager’s hot seat there are only a few games left to stop the current slide turning into a relegation nightmare.

Blimey, sorry to say this but you chaps have made a questionable decision appointing Simmo manager – he took Carlisle down before he got them up, snatched mediocrity from the jaws of the Premiership in season one and oversaw a massive drop in spirit and performance in season 2 at the North End – be prepared for confidence plummeting and some odd decisions. But best of luck to you – you shouldn’t go down..not this season at any rate!

Well done on managing to find two people willing to admit they support STFC

A survey on this site gave Simpson the majority vote and I think ‘fan power’ swayed STFC as it seems to me he was pre-selected even before the job was formally advertised. Alas his dubious team selection and formation appears no better than Gary Peters’. The two games under McMahon were good solid performances and I think he should have been given a longer spell in charge.
