Are group enjoying seaside break?

Had the weather over Easter been better, a lot more folk would have taken the chance of an Easter break away – perhaps a day at the sea.
Although the August 20 date written on this photo shows that it wasn’t taken at Easter, it seems likely that this is a group of folk on a seaside break – they seem to be sitting on rocks.
And there is also likely to be a Shropshire connection. This photo was loaned to us by Kathleen Jenkins, of Shrewsbury, and is one of a large number of pictures passed down to her late first husband John Bond, who came from a very old Shrewsbury family, when his mother and father died.
His mother was a Campion, another old Shrewsbury family. From the fashions, the photo was taken just before World War One. Was this a group of Salopians on a seaside day trip?
