Bridge fall teenager dies

A 19-year-old man has died after falling from a Shrewsbury railway bridge, police said today.
The incident happened on Sunday night and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A spokesman for the British Transport Police said the man fell from the railway bridge at Belvidere Road. A member of the public called the police at 5.45pm.
Sergeant Karl Anderson said: “There will be an inquest opened and, following that, details will be released about the person.
“We are still speaking to the family.”
