Parents told not to worry
Tuesday 11th March 2008, 11:43AM GMT.
Parents and pupils in two Shropshire villages near Shrewsbury are being told not to worry after a child was followed by a black car.
The incident, involving a Toyota car, happened as the pupil was leaving Minsterley Primary School.
But Constable Mike Dulson, who looks after the area, said rumours had spiralled out of control.
Letters have been sent to parents at the school and to Pontesbury Primary School and the Mary Webb School about the incident.

A brave comment from an officer that we all hope has had the blessing of his force Press Officer to make.
If not and the ‘rumours’ that have ‘spiralled out of control’ prove to be concerns that should have been taken notice of then West Mercia will be discredited and scarred for a long long time.
