Kitchener’s back with England

Saturday 8th March 2008, 11:39AM GMT.

Graham KitchenerShropshire rugby ace Graham Kitchener helped England under 20s to a comprehensive 41-15 victory over Scotland under 20s.

The Worcester Warriros lock, who comes from Baschurch, near Shrewsbury, came off the bench in the second half and made a positive impact in the game at Falkirk last night.

The former Adams Grammar School student is working his way back to full fitness after a knee injury which has restricted him to just two appearances since for his club since November.

Now he will be hoping to make the squad for the final game of Six Nations next week when England will be going for the Grand Slam against Ireland at Kingsholm.

His cause may be helped as fellow lock Ben Thomas was red carded and will miss the game
