I woke up at 1:00am this morning as i could hear numerous noises, it was like a rumble and i could hear all of the coathangers in my wardrobe along with my blinds shaking, it was very odd, i wasnt quite sure what was happening as i was still half asleep!

Hubby and I were awake at the time it happened and felt nothing. We’re in Bridgnorth. Did anybody feel it here?

I was woken up around 1am, by the sound of the radiator on the wall in my bedroom rattling. My cat was asleep on the end of the bed and woke up frightened she ran to the top of the stairs and looked at the door which leads outside. I thought we were being broken into. Then I realised we had just experienced an earth tremor. I looked out of the window but no one else was up. I turned on the radio and they said that e-mails were coming into the radio station to say we had had an earthquake. The area the tremor afected it must have been awful in the centre of it. I was scared.

i thought the earthquake we had a fair few years back was bigger than the last one, we had cracks all up our street; whereas i hardly felt this one.
