Mavis Price, from Telford, has an electric touch – and it causes no end of problems.

The 60-year-old has seen televisions, irons, kettles and vacuum cleaners stop working after she has touched them.

It is believed that she carries high amounts of static electricity in her body and shorts out the equipment.

But how does she cope? Our video journalist James Shaw was on hand to find out more . . . and kept his video camera a safe distance!
